Ok, so the earth rotates at about 1000 miles per hour,more or less, people have already probably thought of this; UFOs move at incredible speeds apparently, right? If you were to create a device that that could halt the gravity of the earth from affecting an area, stick it on a hover vehicle, you would go zipping off in the direction the earth is rotating and you would not be affected by the massive Gs of the earth, but 1000mph winds would pretty rough on you. Possible?
