If you don't believe in the bible because it is simply a bunch of stories with no evidence told by ancient jews that have a lot of reasons to lie, then why do you believe in the holocaust?

1.) People survived the holocaust, it was only a few generations ago, and was well documented/commonly accepted as a part of the mainstream model of history.

2.) I don't necessarily have to "believe" in the Holocaust, it doesn't affect my existence or conflict with anything else I feel compelled to believe. It's just what is taught and accepted in schools, it doesn't involve any infringement upon basic logic, etc.

I see no reason not to belive the holocaust happened. But the numbers... well theive been consistantly dropping from 2million stated by the Russians (who probably couldnt count), to 150,000 by the German involved, who then dropped it to 100,000. I however have gotta belive the numbers the Jewish newspapers themselves gave for Germany during WW1 which was about 25,000.
