/sci/ I need help. It's about what I want to do with my life. All I know is that I like physics and math, and couldn't study anything else. Should I become a Physicist (theoretical) or a Mathematician?

What's the job outlook like, the job itself and the salary for the two?

No one?

Aerospace Engineer

how does that sound

>> No.1862052

mathematicians have a better job outlook but physicists get paid more. In the future, with space and stuff, Physics will be more important. But I doubt you'll live to that time anyways.

You were born too soon to explore the galaxy.

What's the highest paid engineer anyways? (other than petroleum)

Google for the department of labor.

They regularly post stats and projections on just about every field.

Aeronautical or Aerospace engineer sounds right up your alley, but, how do you feel about design?

>> No.1862146

I'd always like to build jets or spacecraft or such, but apparently, it's more stress and less pay than Physicists. So.

It's also easier to get a well paying job in. Physicists only get well paid jobs if they're really good.

And you probably wouldn't get that kind of job for a long time, you'd probably be designing small passenger craft and what not for quite a while.

Neither, you are not smart enough to do either of them well.

The only exceptions are the math olympiad winner kids, which you are not.
