Using one's religious views in a logical (scientific) argument cannot ever be of any value because one does not obtain religious views through logic. Logic requires proof, demands evidence, insists on facts. Faith, being the core value of nearly all religions, insists on outright disregard of proof and therefore is not logical.

So can we please stop discussing this shit in /sci/?

>because one does not obtain religious views through logic

Wrong. Perhaps not all values, but imply that anything pertaining to religion is illogical is asinine. Spinoza all up in this bitch.

Initial religious values are gained through belief aka faith, then any thought or conclusion made from that can be deduced back to the original belief. Without the starting beliefs, there would be absolutely no room for logic in religion to spring forth.

Initial mathematical postulates are simply made up and assumed to be true, then any thought or conclusion made from that can be deduced back to the original postulates. Without the starting postulates, there would be absolutely no room for logic in mathematics to spring forth.

Reported for drawing attention to a subject what should be ignored.

Your touted intentions are well meaning, but your poor execution belies your underlying motive which corrupts your finished product into partisanship.
