/sci/, help me choose my engineering major!

OK, so I have to decide really soon what I'm going to go into. My two options are electrical engineering with a concentration on power systems and energy conversion or mechanical engineering.

My question is: Which is a better path for going into green engineering, specifically dealing with alternative energy? Please and thank you!
