I've had it sense I was 12. Everyone that has it, experiences something different. Sometimes its just dissociation from reality and you don't feel like you are doing the driving at all. Some rare cases people start off with minor NPC like personalities then they develop over time into full blown people in their own right. Weather it is full blown delusion driving it or whatever you wanna call it. It doesn't invalidate that even the fakers, many of them are, they make me rage as a sufferer my self. I have only 1 other I share my time and life with. In my situation I swap off every 4 days, and go to sleep, while the other takes over. I am unable to work, even when I try to because neither of us are on the same page. At first we weren't aware of each other, until others helped us communicate with each other. So yes, to me it is a reality, I don't care if others believe it, in fact I prefer to keep quiet about it where I am not anonymous. Anyone who comes out and brags about it, is most likely a faker. If you notice it on someone and they never say anything about unless you pry. You got the real deal.
