How did you get into medical school that easily? I'm in my 4th year of college, a semester and a half away from a degree in microbiology, and I'm not even able to be in med school yet.

How you do that OP? Maybe you don't understand how college works yet?

Yea...I don't think that's true considering I'm already earning my PhD in genetics, doing stem cell research. But hey, you have fun making use of the advances that I help discover being a glorified mechanic.

why does /sci/ hate med students ? I mean I know you're all just electrical engineering shut ins earning 50K pa when you're in your late 30s but still ...

I have a natural gift at math but a passion for biology/physiology.

I'm just the type of person that "gets" math. I understand how it's all interconnected and woven together and that's what makes it great and easy, not that you can solve for a variable, but there are infinite possible ways to work out a problem.

I tested out of both Algebra I and Geometry with the help of my dad and I thank him for what he did.

This, oh god this. Throughout highschool I had this one underclassman in my AP/honors math classes who thought he was super-smart when all he did was skip the joke of a class that 7th grade algebra was.

If you were srs about studying medicine, you would definitely be hearing from your adviser that a high school AP class might cut the mustard for your BS, but any medical school is going to need you taking that class at the undergraduate level.

Hence the bold. On the med school's website. Reads:

>AP credit will not be accepted for completion of required courses.

Dude, you're 18 and trying to convince people who are familiar with how college works that you did something that you didn't. Better get registering for principles of physics, son.
