Hot Dogs come in 8
Buns come in 10

I'm supposed to make 300 hot dogs
How many sets do I order of each?
What's the algorithm to do this sort of problems?

>> No.1818728

I remember being in grade 6.

are you serious

and how does the picture relate?

Where do I find out how to do these sets of problems?

Like practice stuff?

>> No.1818736

Going with the information provided.

Hotdogs: 38
Buns: 30

>> No.1818737

300 dogs / 8 dogs per pack of dogs = 37 and a half packs (probably rounded up to 38).
300 buns / 10 buns per pack of buns = 30 packs of buns.

Troll some more.

Non troll. This is a math board right?

It's one of the questions on the GED.

This is a linear programming problem:
minimize x + y - 300 where
x + ... + z1 + ... = 300
... + y + ... + z2 = 300
