Why does /sci/ belive in relativity when its just a theory(a guess)?

Conservepedia is the best source for scientific information.
All the scientist are lying about magnets and shiz.

Because jesus could do his miracles thats why relativity is wrong.- conservapedia

Why don't you ask the Department of Defense why they have to adjust their satellites for the effects of time dilation if there are no Relativistic phenomena happening?

Dumbfucks.

I love how conservapedia is a joke site but only 5% of the people writing the articles know that.

Jesus did miracles from distance so your point is invalid.

>29. In Genesis 1:6-8, we are told that one of God's first creations was a firmament in the heavens. This likely refers to the creation of the luminiferous aether.

Well, I'm convinced.

brace yourself

"The theory of relativity is a mathematical system that allows no exceptions. It is heavily promoted by liberals who like its encouragement of relativism and its tendency to mislead people in how they view the world."

31. 31.The barn and ladder paradox: Person A has a ladder too long to store in his barn. Person B takes the ladder and runs very fast into the barn. For A, who is at rest with respect to the ladder, the ladder will contract, and if the velocity is fast enough, it will fit in the barn. But to B, who is moving with the ladder, it is the barn that will contract, making the problem even worse. So, who is correct? Does the ladder fit in the barn? This problem was considered in the book Introduction to Electrodynamics by David Griffiths, and the author, who supports Relativity, claim that both are correct. The ladder both fit and doesn’t fit in the barn. This is obviously against elementary rules of logic.
LOL the author doesnt understand a 2nd year physics text therefore relativity is wrong.

Wow, this is completely new and original! Thanks for posting this, OP!!

>> No.1808348

It is heavily promoted by liberals who like its encouragement of relativism and its tendency to mislead people in how they view the world.

The best part about that is the reference they use to back that up.

↑ See, e.g., historian Paul Johnson's book about the 20th century, and the article written by liberal law professor Laurence Tribe as allegedly assisted by Barack Obama. Virtually no one who is taught and believes Relativity continues to read the Bible, a book that outsells New York Times bestsellers by a hundred-fold.

>5.The logical problem of a force which is applied at a right angle to the velocity of a relativistic mass - does this act on the rest mass or the relativistic mass?

I'm actually interested in the answer to this one.

Related.

You're confusing theoretical physics with laws, OP.

So a liberal wrote a book, helped by the president, to say that liberals promote 'relativity' to promote relativism and mislead people in how they view the world.

First of all, politicians want to skew the world of the average person. Last time I checked, the average person doesn't know what the theory of relativity is.

Secondly, what the hell do they have to gain out of this, it's not like politics and science have ever shared a field (inb4 political science, you know what your doing)

>> No.1808457

This sounds like confusing the Heisenberg Uncercainty Principle with things other than measuring subatomic particles.

An often mistake among dimestore philosophers.

>> No.1808476

It may be a theory, but it's not just a guess. There's experimental evidence to support relativity. For example:
