Look into your states laws about this stuff.

Some states, it is Illegal to own like half of the glassware in your basic chem lab without a license.

i live in canada...i dont think any of it is illegal here...plus i need most of it for school anyway...im in my 4th year of university and they expect us to pay for the glassware and chemicals...i just dont want to buy it from the campus store because its ridiculously over-priced

Drugs is the reason they are restricted in many places. I was gonna buy a bunch of tiny erlenmeyer flasks to use as shot glasses, but then I found out they are considered "controlled materials" and I was too lazy to get any license or anything. I remember them being like.... $35 for a dozen little flasks.

Also, sucks you have to pay for your own chemicals and shit. I am a graduate student in the USA and I don't really have to pay for any of the lab equipment directly.

what do you need?

if it is for a class, I assume you need some microscale shit?

what are you looking for?

the reality is that the only "cheap" glassware (all of it is used) can only be purchased by COMPANIES with legitimate credentials.

sites like labx do this (they sell absolutely everything. from flasks to STM/TEM/AFM/NMR/HPLC/SFC/CVD/PVD/SQUID/GCMS/TOFMS-ESI-EI-MALDI/XRD/SSNMR/EPR/FTIR/UVVIS/Fluor/CFM/NF
OM/AAS, solvent systems, 100 liter reactors, etc.)
