Do you think the universe holds memory, similar to how a hard-drive holds memory even after it is deleted in the trash bin. Basically, can everything that has ever happened be hypothetically known or at a certain point does the arrangement of energy, matter, and space become "degraded" to a point the cause of it's current state is unknown.

So you are basically saying that if you by some science found the direction at which the universe is going, you could then turn that direction around and know all of the history of the universe with precise detail.

Hello guy. Basically when we have the technology in the future, we will be able to send tachions back in time, and record their path/change in trajectory as they enounter objects. With enough of these, we can construct an accurate image of a past event on a molecular level without influencing it at all. We will be even be able to get an accurate cross section of people's brains in this way. Now obviously this means that once we have a firm understanding of how memory and the thought process work we will be able to understand thoughts on a physical level in terms of impulses.
