Why arnt 6 packs symetrical?

>> No.1688116

Because humans aren't symmetrical.

and what does asymmetry indicate? why it's considered unattractive?

btw, what about the face on that pic?

>> No.1688372

lets see YOU try to work your core muscles symmetrically every time you move.

>> No.1688396

Dunno lol.

Some people get lucky. Zyzz's abs are symmetrical.

I don't think it's that important. My abs are starting to show, and they're a little uneven.

Wasn't Zyzz proven to be a hack? He the guy from Facepunch right?

Hack? He took steroids, what do you mean 'hack'

>> No.1688405

Genetic. You're either born with symmetrical abs or you're not.

>> No.1688411

>>1688400

I don't know, I never entered the thread, just heard a few rumours here and there and then someone pulling an Internet Detective (IBDH certified) and someone discovering it was all a lie and he used someone else's pictures.

... Steroids huh? That's for lazy faggots. No pain no gain.

Just because you are born with a trait it doesn't mean it's genetic. It can be congenit like fingerprints, is there actually some research on this? Do twins have identical ab configuration?

Most people usually work harder when they are on steroids actually, because they usually try and eat even cleaner and work harder in the gym

>> No.1688487

I don't know of any research. I'm not a biologist and I said it was genetic. For all I know it could be epigenetic. I guess switch that to natural.

To the guy who asked why we should care. You shouldn't. It would only matter in sexual selection and since nowadays most civilized individuals keep their shirts on in private no one is going to know about your hideously assymetrical abs until they're suckered into marrying you.

>> No.1688513

It's just muscle insertion points, some people have symmetrical abs, most don't.

Pretty much random chance / genetics

>> No.1688514

just a suggestion, but i think it is because of the things you do. it may be coincidence but i am left handed and legged and mine are mirrored to the ones of my righthanded brother. just hypothetical.

Here's a question: Any studies on why people find six pack abs so attractive. Like does a defined six pack actually have some sexual purpose like big hips and boobs. Or is it some cultural thing?

Like all male musculature, it's a display of physical strength and fitness, implying to females that a) this guy has good genes and b) he'll be able to protect her and their offspring. I'd have thought that much was obvious?

>> No.1689566

>>1688587
Cultural thing. 6 pack abs are comparatively unhealthy since you need to lower your body fat to such a low degree. Technically you're healthier with a little more fat on you, as odd as that sounds.

youre a dumbass. do long legs have a "sexual purpose"?

does having a skinny or fat stomach have a sexual purpose?

we are attracted to these things because your brain is programmed to be attracted to a the female form and features. that is why you are also attracted to drawings and traps.

Not true. What we're attracted to is mostly culturally conditioned. Look at what your ancestors found attractive 1000 or 2000 years ago. Genetics doesn't change that quickly.

>Look at what your ancestors found attractive 1000 or 2000 years ago

I think there are many misconceptions there. Our ancestors were attracted to human women, just like us ...
