Furthermore, I actually am a geneticist and its really easy to contaminate a sample, as if he got the wrong type of fungus or something with his sample the genes end up in the sequence and would fuck with the program when it tries to put it all together into one sequence. Also 350 odd base pairs is like, one small genes worth of DNA.
