Then we have the issue that, its very unlikely FTL is possible (we will know if warp drives are being used, building gravity wave detectors soon to see if they are).

Given FTL is impossible, it means life, if it breaches the gravity well of its host planet, will probably crawl across the galaxy at .01c at best with fusion rockets, or maybe black hole reactor drives might be a solution.

The odds are obviously at least = 1 since you are a multicellular organism typing that out. The anthropic principle plus the fact our gravity well is just low enough that we can escape w chemical rockets gives me hope that there is a favorable universal teleology that involves earth derived intelligence colonizing the solar system and eventually galaxy. There might be some on one of the moon's of Jupter, specifically Europa. NASA actually just launched the 'Europa Clipper' in October 24th of this year to go which is a probe *dedicated* to scanning for signs of life on the moon.
There might have been some on Mars in the past. Back in June the Mars Perseverance Rover took a photo of what could possibly be a marine fossil of some kind? We won't know until we get our grubby hands on it.
There also might be some on Venus, but I've heard that may just be a reading/mechanical error.

Strictly speaking: we HAVE found microorganisms, algae, and various bacteria and fungi growing on the outside of the International Space Station. About 32 different species of microscopic organisms (2 of which are supposedly completely unique to space) have taken a liking to the solar panels and windows on our satellites and have colonized them despite being in the vacuum of space. Japan has the 'Tanpopo Mission', which was designed to expose microbes to the vacuum of space and see what could survive, but it seems like nature is infinitely better at picking winners than we could ever hope to be.
We've technically made our own Aliens.

Solve abiogenesis and then solve the probabilities of that leading to intelligent life and we can return to this topic. Can't speculate with the data that we have
