Hey /sci/. Just so you know, I'm not trolling, I swear.

My senior school year just started and I'm still getting to know the new teachers. I go to a private school that is mostly Christian faculty.

So we were talking about atoms and such, and one of my friends is astounded by how small an atom is.

I say to him "Ya' know, the universe was much smaller than an atom at one point? Before the big bang everything was squeezed tightly together" He thinks that it's amazing.

My teacher says "Well that's IF you believe in the big bang."

I say "Well what scientist doesn't?"

"Well a lot of scientists are creationists"

Your response should be, with a perfectly straight face. "No, no there are not."

A liberal (non-fundamentalist) with a mere high school education is just as likely to accept evolution as a conservative (non-fundamentalist) with a graduate degree.
