Trying to act rational, as an irrational thinking being in an irrational world is doomed to fail.

>> No.1640457

But we can create rational machines to make decisions for us.

That's Christians and Jews.

Humans can be extremely rational, and everything int he world can be understood rationally. What are you on about OP? Trying to validate your personal ignorance of how the universe works by opting out saying "none of it makes any sense"?

>Trying to act rational, in an irrational world filled with retarded irrational people, is doomed to fail

Fix'd.

I'm not OP.
We can think rationally, but we are not capable of acting rationally in our lives. We can make rational decisions occasionally, but we live as irrational beings.

Though I don't see what the problem is.

Oh, and OP is still retarded if they think that this prevents rational thought and rational decisions. You're going to date assholes, doesn't mean you're going to get a liberal arts degree.

What justifies for trying to be "extremely rational" ? ?

KILL ZE JEWS!
But seriously, we can't make large scale economic and social decisions rationally. We have math and we have science, and following the methods for these is rational.
Also, to quote Einstein: "Computers are incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid. Human beings are incredibly slow, inaccurate, and brilliant. Together they are powerful beyond imagination."

Perhaps our irrationality is what leads to our creative thinking and inspiration?
