I worked my ass off to get to a top school in Europe. Then with high enough grades I had the opporutinity to do exchange semesters and my msc thesis in harvard and cmu.
I currently live in a very high cost of living low crime rate place in switzerland.

In all of the aforementioned places, I have seen more jews than I've seen during all my years growing up as a normal kid from a middle class family.
They hoard appartments in some places around where I live and drive the prices extremely high, except for their own community. Every single day I meet men in kippas when going to work. They are highly concentrated, work in banks, as MDs and some are engineers in great places. Their schools sometimes have police officers or security guards patrolling around. Recently there has been a lot of pro-palestine protests around, and I've seen that there are literal armored cops around them, yet they don't even bother placing a couple of normal policemen in the busy streets the protests go through.

I find it funny to see how in Europe our politics revolve around muslims being incapable of assimilating, when most people we interact with on a daily basis have much higher chances of being muslims than jewish. Same muslims work a lot in low-skilled workforce and literally just do what they can to survive while mostly earning very low wages. I don't see them hiring their own kind either, they have strong values. Sometimes these values clash with ours, sure, but I have never felt like they are actually here to take advantage of us, many of them literally just survive. I meet them at the gym, they're still in construction worker clothes, looking like they wrestle with life itself on a daily basis.
But somehow, 60-80% of current European discourse revolves around them, and how they supposedly refuse to assimilate to our society, meanwhile jews living in a parallel world, never interacting with us, with access to special housing, schooling and other privilege is totally fine.

The tl;dr is
Jews in Europe were barred from certain professions for hundreds of years. Specifically they were limited to finance and trade (as in buying and selling, not "tradeskills"). These are both fields that select for high IQ. So Jews faced abnormally high selection pressure for IQ. This short-term pressure yielded what's more like an intelligence "perk" focused on only certain types of intelligence, and came with some major costs in the population at large (genetic neurological diseases like Tay-Sachs).
None of these traits are seen in non-European Jews
