Famed atheist professor Richard Dawkins was shot this morning by a gunman as he boarded a train near Trafalger Square. It was not immediately clear whether Dawkins had been the target of a hate crime or was just injured in a random shooting. Police have arrested two men in connection with the shootings and three victims are hospitalized in critical condition. Dawkins died within minutes of being shot while the three others were also wounded at the same time by the gunman. One of them, Nadine Moser, was pronounced dead minutes after being loaded into an ambulance.
