I am very interested in mathematical logic and I am spending days just reading textbooks on logic and relates branches as recursion theory, model theory, higher order logics, proof analysis etc. Tho I am very intersted in analytic number theory, topology and other branches of higher mathematics, but something differents clicks in my head when I do logic. It just feels so intuitive for me. Please help anons

I can relate, at least partially. For me logic is the easiest or most intuitive branch of math. It feels like an extended IQ test. I just don't consider it particularly interesting. I'm fine with having understood Gödel but I have no incentive to go into HoTT or whatever. The geometric and analytic branches of math are much more interesting to me.
