15927645 No.15927645[DELETED]  [Reply] [Original]

Two decades ago climate scientists said we'll witness certain adverse effects of climate change by now and yet nothing's happening. Thanks to these retards public trust in scientific establishment is at an all time low.

>> No.15927676 [DELETED]

>>15927645
>Two decades ago
They've been saying it since the early 20th century. They took a break from about 1940 to 1980 when the cyclical global temperature trends were downwards and during that period they were claiming that the new ice age was starting and were all going to be crushed by glaciers and freeze to death and then the cyclical global temperature trends reversed for 40 years and the global warming hype was rekindled. Now that cyclical global temperature trends have once again reversed, they will soon be promoting ice age hysteria. Somehow or other the scientists are incapable understand the fairly simple concept of dynamic stability and that alone is a good enough reason to never place any trust in them, because they are clearly very low IQ regardless how much media hype claims otherwise

>> No.15927680

How the fuck did they became scientists if they were low IQ?

>> No.15928524

scientists are low IQ, its a dumb job for lazy low IQ people. why do you think spending $100 billion on scientific research never produces any useful results? its like that because scientists are low IQ, if high IQ people were given $100 billion to spend on scientific research they'd come away with something worthwhile

>> No.15928535

>>15928524
>why do you think spending $100 billion on scientific research never produces any useful results?
It's too spread out.
"Useful results" are produced when large amount of capital is accumulated in one place to work on a specific problem.

For example: USSR had extremely successful space program despite being poor, barely post-feudal society where large percentage of population was starving.

>> No.15929153 [DELETED]

>>15928535
Useful results are produced when legitimately intelligent people do research, useless garbage is produced when soiytarded soiyentist idiots do it.
Heres an example: starting in the late 1800s, the Smithsonian institute began a program to try and invent an flying machine, they spend over $10,000,000 over the course of over a decade and came away with nothing. Then the Wright brothers pulled off the job in only a couple few years and they spent less than $100 to do it. Thats because Samuel Langley, the guy who was in charge of the Smithsonian's project, was an alcoholic moron while the Wright brothers were high IQ

Living in Russia sucked before the USSR, which is part of the reason why the USSR came to power. Sending waves of bodies into WWI was the straw that broke the camel's back. People thought anything was better than being a serf under the czar so might as well put in power this government which claims to be one that represents the people. Sadly, for them the USSR was more horrible and oppressive. Before the USSR, there was a small growing middle class (smaller than western European countries and the USA), from whose perspective pre-USSR Russia didn't seem so bad.
>tldr both sucked
Also, USSR's technological sectors were successful because they stole Nazi Scientist and research, followed up by stealing western technology with their spies.
