two words: winter vagina

https://www.is.fi/kotimaa/art-2000010044567.html

Weels 45-47 in 2023 showed record number of deaths. Higher than last 40 years (only weeks 45-47 being in comparison, not any other week of the year)

Week 47 saw 1225 dead people. Finland has 5 million population.

Weel 45 was 1411 dead.

Here we have to also keep in mind that some people might end up missing in some week and found later, they cant be immediately declared dead if its a missing person.

THESE RECORDS DO NOT MENTION CAUSE OF DEATH BUT IT CAN BE ANYTHING

Thanks for sharing a news article in your native language. I'd like to inform you that this is /sci/, a board on the topics science and maths. I don't see how Finnish news articles fit the scope of this board.

there is no numbers of the dead in Finland available in other languages

and dead people fits the theme of sci, its mystery

what killed them? is there a scientific explanation? why deaths are up now?
wasnt there a pandemic in 2021-2022 and isnt the pandemic already over?

>there is no numbers of the dead in Finland available in other languages
The only source for numbers is the dead in Finland is a local tabloid newspaper? Euromomo has the numbers as well.
>and dead people fits the theme of sci, its mystery
"Mystery" might fit the scope of /x/ better than /sci/.

Vaxx has been debunked as a cause.

Birth rate peaked in 1947. One might imagine that death rate will peak when those people near life expectancy

>> No.15911570

>>15911565
The average lifespan calculated from this is 1/(0.00025) weeks, or 76.9 years. What exactly is your problem? I assume the actual life expectancy is higher and that this week is a mild statistical uptick. Did you need someone to do this math for you? Is that why you came to /sci/?
