Any intellectuals here have insanely high metabolisms even into their late 20s/30s? I'm a 145lb skeleton but my maintenance calories are roughly 3100/day. What causes our brains to be so needy compared to most? I'm mostly studying differential eqs and molecular biology right now.

I don't think my metabolism is fast, I just have poor nutrient absorption. I shit at least three times each day, often more. When I wake up in the morning, I'm already shitting what I had for dinner.
I also walk everywhere, keeps me fit.
