hey if it makes you feel better it was already this impossible to get a math postdoc about 10 years ago when I was trying. the difference between me and you is that when I started my ph in math in 2009 the most recent employment statistics window actually made getting a math post doc seem like a plausible proposition, but that's because the slow moving stats hadn't caught up with the 2008 financial crisis, which was basically the nail in the coffin for the math post doc market which had been on a decline since the soviet union fell.
