The teacher's union in Portland has been on strike for a month. Once the know-it-all soience atheists get too full of themselves they start making irrational and unreasonable demands for money, which is the only thing atheists truly care about.
The pay range for teachers in Portland is already $80k-$160, but somehow thats not good enough.
Imagine getting paid six figures and you can't even teach children how to add fractions because you're too busy trying to trick them into suiciding their reproductive organs, so you go on strike to demand more money.
The good news about this all is of course that the children of Portland have finally seen some benefit from the teachers' union, a month of doing nothing other than derping around on their phones will educate them better than the school would have.
