correct, but this was a trolling 'joke' made by some actual respected scientist earlier this year iirc. it was supposedly a hi-res picture of Betelgeuse captured by the James Webb Space Telescope.

There have been some concepts for an Arecibo-esque radio telescope built into a lunar crater. It's essentially just a huge wire mesh suspended from the rim. Not particularly difficult to build, but it still requires being able to land tons of material on the Moon, so still outside of our capabilities for now.
