What kind of educational background do you need to work at NASA/SpaceX? What are they looking for?

>> No.15860409

To work at NASA you need to be black, female or homosexual

>> No.15860491

my god the space shuttle was beautiful
shame the Air Force made some questionable design choices

I'm black. What else should I know? What Specialisation would be both helpful to get in and allow me to go elsewhere if I choose to move on?

You don't need anything else, just apply and make sure they know you're a negro

They're hiring everything from food service workers, all the way to master degree level engineers. So minimum education for Spacex right now is can you make a cup of coffee?

But, how can I do a good job if I don't know anything?

You don't need to know anything. Niggers are media puppets used for good faith from a degenerating civilization.

You need to be good at launching helium balloons, and various special effects techniques like movies made on zero G planes, underwater movie making and computer generated graphics

pretty sure they provide job requirements on there website.
Depends upon what role you are seeking
From an Engineering pov, NASA is a meme at this point.
Also you need American citizenship to work at NASA/SpaceX, so don't bother if you are an Europoor or a Turd Worlder

That's okay. I guess.
I mean for a 24 year old that's decent money assuming you don't have to pay rent in NY or LA.

Space Force backgrounds. If you actually want in now, there's literally a military branch you can join. I guarantee if you enlist, get a bachelor's and maybe a master's you can get spit out and hired immediately at NASA or SpaceX.

>> No.15870865

>>15860386
Like any large operation they hire everything from rocket scientists to janitors. It's just a cool place to work, so you gotta be constantly prowling for job listings to apply to if you want a reasonable shot at getting in.

>> No.15871063

You can't go wrong with Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering. Physics with a concentration in Photonics or Solid State too is a good way to get into NASA.

Aerospace or mechanical engineering for the physical design. Electrical engineering for power, telemetry, comm. Software engineering for controls, commanding, analytics. Any of these engineering degrees will set you up for continued learning and application.

If engineering is beyond your means, research trades like machining, welding, non destructive inspecting & testing.

Have you reached out to social media accounts associated with those in the rocket building business?
