Could a real BLIT be possible to make with AI?
Okay so BLIT is a science fiction story by David Langford about these images which are generated by an algorithm that cracks human visual processing in a way that crashes their brain, rendering them insane.
It's an interesting idea even if not possible but given the level of power AI image generation has reached lately and the fact that human visual processing is very algorithmic as the whole thing with the blue/black gold/white dress has shown, I think something very interesting could be produced if there was sufficient interest to do so. At least something that fucks with people's minds and makes them wonder what they are looking at, even if it doesn't make them permanently insane.

Extremely disturbing images could be generated, killer images could not.

Seems unlikely. Maybe with a superintelligence, but I doubt a superintelligence would need brain-breaking pictures to fuck us over.

you're retarded
all discussion of robots should also go to /lit/ right since that's a science fiction concept

The concept of AI is not itself pseudoscience, unless you think the human brain contains some magical process that's not subject to the laws of physics and causality and therefore can never be functionally replicated in another substrate.
