I edit all my graphs in paint, i just eyeball the data points and draw lines like i did statistical analysis, then from that line i pull numbers out of my ASS.
All my colleagues make them in latex and spend hours debugging
Also i write all my papers in word
Realistically, who is going to check this?

I wouldn't use Paint for graphs (or charts), but I use Paint for all of my figures. In fact, my opinion is that MS Paint is the greatest piece of software ever created.
