They're not escaping any particular judgement, they're not fitting in with normal function, they're obviously being judged negatively. It's self-evident that psychosis exists, otherwise there'd be no fucking word for it and would be totally assumed to be otherwise normal people.
If you want to stretch and incorrectly over-generalize that psychopathic behavior is not judged until it manifests to be a self-evident problem, only after it having lead to something like a terrible crime or a murder; then it's still better to assume predictor measures which could have ever lead to such scenarios in the first place.
The ultimate point was that the effect of guilt is almost purely subconscious and there isn't a lot the conscious can do to deal with it other than make up for it by any means; this is what was being referred to with it's divine simplicity. and the notion of it manifesting as a gene would necessarily mean long-term exposure/conditioning over generations and generations, in the case of it being identifiable within jewish populations.
