The poisoned wine bottle riddle:

You have 1000 bottles of wine. You know that exactly two bottles are poisoned. Drinking any amount from a poisoned bottle kills the drinker in uniformly random time between 12 and 20 hours. There are no other ways to determine which bottles are poisoned.
You have 24 hours to figure out which the poisoned bottles are. To do this you can buy slaves at the slave market in front your door and have them test the wine. Assume the slaves can't die from any causes other than drinking from poisioned wine bottles during those 24 hours.
How many slaves do you need to buy to find the poisoned bottles with 100% certainty?
