Humanzees

How come we still do not know whether humanzees are possible or not?

Even if it's highly unethical to experiment with this, it's not like history of science isn't full of fucked up shit anyway. It's highly unlikely nobody tried it and tested it to completion. I know there have been attempts, but it seems none of them were able to actually conduct the experiment to completion, which raises even more suspicions.

It's not possible. We're not the same species. We don't actually descend from chimps. We come from other humans. Humans and chimps are both great apes / tail-less primates but that's about it. Once labcoats say chimps are our closest ancestors what they don't tell you is we killed off the other humans that we actually descend from and probably most other ape species as well and all that is left of tail-less primates are chimps gorillas bonobos and organatangs plus humans
