A small hurricane that wasn’t even hurricane strength by the time it hit California caused some flooding and kept California from catching on fire for a little while happened for the first time since the 1940’s with no evidence that it is becoming a regular thing despite the fact that California would benefit from more rain and these idiots are complaining about it and acting like it’s the end of the world. Do they want more uncontrollable forest fires? Do they want more drought? You can’t make them happy. Everything is sign of man made climate change, if it’s fire we did it, if it’s a small ice age we did it, if it’s rain we did it. The talking points are always the same. We did it, it’s our fault, the world is going to end because we won’t eat bugs and stop driving cars. Whether it's "arbitrary" or not, it's a distinction George made in his original tweet. He wrote "HURRICANE" in all caps. George said that a HURRICANE heading for Baja and Southern California is not normal. Phil replied by showing that "storms" normally form in the Eastern Pacific Basin and occasionally creep up toward California. That's logically not sufficient to prove that George was wrong in his claims that HURRICANES heading for California was abnormal.
