This is actually a good question and shows how fucking stupid the vast majority of theoretical physics is. Math is only meaningful as a language to describe structures and relationships that exist in reality. Just speaking into existence a mathematical structure, self consistent or not, does not make said mathematical structure a real or meaningful thing
