Hey /sci/, when do you think humans will step foot on mars? If you don't think that humans will even get to mars, post why.

Not that far out, but probably not within 100-150 years.

Resources are dwindling at a ridiulously high rate (rare stuff like selenium, antimony, fucking bismuth, etc) and the environment just gets higher (most modern models predict faster warming than previously thought - within 20-30 years the ice cap will be almost entirely gone or gone)

I kind of doubt we'll ever make it, as we spend less and less resources on things which are scientifically unfeasible, except for long-time periods of incapacitation with as-of-now impossible technology.

We'll like have organic computers and organic plastic before we realistically try going to Mars.
