It's less complicated than you think. I just think of it as applied Lenz's law to a conductor with no resistance to current.

I made my first batch of LK-99 last night.

My dad works for a wholesale chemicals distributor, so I got everything in quantities much larger than the Korean team.
I'm not going to disclose exactly how much we used...

We have a sample of LK-99 the size of a ping pong ball.

It levitates and has negligible resistance.

I don't have tools on hand to test out the other expected properties, but it flux pins too.

I think this is legit and these labs need to increase their scale of production a bit to see everything firsthand.
