>in the near future we will be able to terraform Venus
>how you ask? Well we just need to create a sheet in space several times the size of the US covering the sun and freeze Venus so all CO2 turns solid, then send the trillions of tonnes of CO2 ice into space, then send all the water from the moon of Europa to Venus. It's that easy! Can be done in a generation or two!
This shit is fucking insane. Kurzgesagt is a fucking meme.

>terraform Venus
Ive been saying this for a number of years. It has properties that Mars simply does not and CANNOT have, mainly magnetosphere and atmosphere.

If humans can "ruin" our atmosphere, why cant we pollute Venus into something usable?

Oop...too late, dibs...

Yes, the logistics of terraforming a planet are insane. What did you expect?
If you want a more """""""""""""realistic""""""""""""" proposition for Venus colonization, HAVOC is a fun one.

we are several hundred years from being able to terraform Venus, and that's being optimistic.

It can be done. We only need to exterminate all the leftist vermin, all the globohomo politicians, billionares, bankers and their prostitutes in academia. A great future awaits for mankind if we are brave enough to do what is needed.

Not with that attitude

>> No.15610805

the best way to terraform any planet is to genetically engineer an organism, likely some plant to spread fast as fuck and transform the atmosphere. Prove me wrong

just engineer it in such a way (not possible with current science but maybe in the future) that it will use shit available on the planet to process and grow and also give it ability to multiply very fast. It will be exponential and it would turn the whole planet green very fast, then you can run some simulations and introduce other things to adjust the ecosystem to your needs
