Atheism is the view that god doesn't exist.

There isn't any evidence to back this idea that God doesn't exist. There is nothing, nada, zero, zilch.

However if you have lots of blind faith you can still hold strongly the view that god doesn't exist. This is what atheists do, and this is why atheism sucks. It's like a religion.

Christianity has caused all sorts of problems in the past, therefore all religion is evil, therefore the religion called atheism is evil.

Now, there is also no proof that Santa Clause doesn't exist. No proof there aren't any unicorns. No proof the Loch Ness Monster doesn't lurk below a scotish lake. No proof that Zeus doesn't exist, no proof the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl doesn't exist.

And yet how much faith does it take you to not believe in the Greek and Roman pantheons don't rule the universe?

Does your atheism toward Zeus suck? Your atheism toward Islam's prophet, does that suck? What about your atheism toward elves and fairies?

Given no evidence for either side, a scientist, a freethinker, and a skeptic will (as per Occam's Razor) disbelieve in an entity given no evidence for its existence, regardless of the evidence or lack thereof for it not existing - because it is *impossible* to universally disprove the existence of an entity.
