You won't be seeing the blue flames since it's during the day and they won't be catching any parts of the launch vehicle, which means that the main point of Starship isn't being performed this time around. Expensive to put that much mass up there, Starship fixes this by being able to literally be the space station that never has to break and can be continuously reused, or send up an entire Mir/Skylab in one go. Actually, making specialized Starship space stations would be the smarter move IMO. You can bring it back down to make any major modifications you need to and it never has to be destroyed since you can constantly make easy modifications to it.

Elon needs to register Starship as a Mexican spacecraft to get the FAA out of the picture for the launches

the space sector isn't going to get anywhere near the hype generative AI is in the near term, but maybe some investment is still going to flow there
A space hype cycle wouldn't be that bad, most companies (and investors) that participate in hype cycles are going to lose money, but usually it leaves behind some actual usable infrastructure and paves the way for continued growth in the sector
not sure what this infrastructure would be in the space sector

Not that probable, I don't think. Starship has tons of STUFF in it that makes it relatively expensive compared to purpose-built space habitats —engines, plumbing, fuel tanks, all that whatnot. Skylab worked okay because it hollowed out a fuel tank and removed the engine and plumbing to make a habitat out of what had previously been an upper stage. Starship-to-space-station seems like kind of a bad idea both technologically and economically.

Solar will out compete any nuclear power system in any orbit closer to the Sun than the asteroid belt. It's just way lighter and simpler for the same power output. Massive Earth orbiting stations are better off using big solar arrays than they are using reactors cooled by equally big radiators.

I guess I was thinking of cargo starship vs depo starship. It will be interesting to see the development of crew starship, which will basically be a station in its own right. They will probably leverage HLS development for crew starship, but HLS will have an interior that does dual duty for living in space and on the surface. So it won't be perfect for just living in space. HLS will also already have docking hardware to be used as a station.

Also do we know. If HLS docks to gateway, will the center of mass be in starship? I have to think the mass of HLS will be equal or greater than the rest of the station.

Not really. Construction is expensive because it takes half a year to a full year for a finished vehicle. All the little bits and pieces that get manually put in, debugged and tested.
