it's practically a hard drug that addicts you by default turns you into the literal parody of a junky.

they haven't realized the true cause is not exercising the right parts of the brain.

all cringe posts, especially the first one, but especially the last one. The treatment for adhd works. Get adhd and try the treatment yourself and then I will allow you to have an opinion

you're a drug addict, your reasoning is driven by your desire to continue your drug addiction as a means of avoiding withdrawal

I tried dextroamphetamine, opium, and ethanol and got addicted to none of them. Am I brain damaged?

>> No.15320220

>>15320186
opium is a terrible drug, i don't see how anyone could enjoy a drug which induces such strong constipation, ethanol is similarly unenjoyable due to side effects.

have you tried stopping taking amphetamines and then living normally by just having adhd as before starting taking them?

yes I wasn't diagnosed until my late 30s and things have been considerably better ever since taking the medication. It helps me focus whereas before I'd have all kinds of problems and could barely keep a job

I dont know how it works in America, but just about every other developed country requires rigorous psychometric testing for diagnosis- they wouldnt just give Adderall to any hyperactive kid. This shit has been already worked out for over 50 years, the science is rock solid, I think American healthcare is just retarded.

If we were junkies, it would be the stimulants themselves that we were addicted to, wouldn't it? I don't know how it works for everyone else, but there's only specific medications that ease symptoms. As an example, if your generics manufacturer starts using filler ingredients that give you side effects and your doctor suggests switching to a different drug altogether, you can be fucked if it doesn't work out. That's an entire month where you have a worthless prescription that you have to bring to the office and just have to deal with symptoms before you can go back.

>> No.15320433

During Covid, the US allowed for telemedicine prescribers to give only new patients stimulants, benzos, etc. without an in office evaluation. It's been enough to create a shortage everywhere.

imagine finding someone being hyperactive, and saying yep giving them drugs that increase hyperactivity will help.

no wonder that youtuber girl who promotes aderall looks like a junky on her eyes.

Every one of those bottles is a different drug. Noting Phenomenological changes for each, as well as when combined. Worst, unknown that it would happen, was morphine/fentnyl mixed with valium. Made my memory stuttering and skipping so I would forget to take it and take it again...and again. We noticed something was wrong when I was having sex with the wife and for some reason thought there was people iny periphery wayching us. Wife got super spooked and wide eyed, we took a shower after that. Waking hallucinations, galloping ammesia, some other ones.

Chemstry helps understand it all better, as well as when it comes to self produced chemicals like DMT or what have you...

Did you know no drug gets you high? Yeah...they alter your brains Chemistry to get you high for you.

most drug addicts start as "normal students". being a 24 year old drug addict may look normal in the surface,

but in the real adult world is a junky (and in later ages the body deteriorates too).
