I have always thought Animals are based af. Like it or not higher degree of Consciousness and Intelligence is a curse. We unironically need to retvrn to monke.

I once did so much weed, that I knew how it felt to be dog; i.e.g being stupid; mainly being a 'camera of the world' and working on instinct.

it's overrated though because it leaves you with low defenses against intelligence and you can probably do it on demand anyway.

A dog isn't stupid like a human is stupid. The dog knows how to track scents, how to hunt without weapons, lots of dog things. You were just a morbidly stupid human, you didn't attain dog-level intelligence.

how would you know? they are extremely low intelligence with complex instincts that often make them operate automatically.

you could try to communicate to them any way you want they are in grave danger and wouldn't get it.

dogs can learn tasks comparable to that a of a 2~5yo human child
that's not stupid at all, they just lack language and appendages that allow them to manipulate their environment

I once lived in an apartment that had snails outside. Snails like you wouldn't believe. After dark it was literally impossible to get to the apartment without crushing at least one of the little buddies. This was because they'd all run out from the bushes to the sidewalk, where this tree would drop little mini plums.

Every morning, you'd come out and see tiny bitemarks in the plums, and you know knew the snails all had the time of their lives, sharing plums with one another, and dancing and singing beneath the stars.

Snails are disgusting animals. They spread human blood flukes and a fuck ton of other diseases.

If they were as smart as you claim they are they would develop hands that allow them to manipulate their environment, much like us humans

Are we still talking about snails here?

It's prey doesn't move, plants. On top of that, plants take time to rot out of mishealth or death, which is what snails and slugs will go for due to lack of defense chemicals in that portion of a plant.

By being slow, you save energy to wait around for this to occur in your environment.

So why not be fast and find more food further afield?

But if there's a high population of them that probably means there's a high chance there's competitors further afield anyway. Why not be evolved to take it slow and be the first to catch dinner in your area.

Or they rather take it chill than be advantageous beings.
