Uninhabitable? No, probably not. That was not my implication.

Uninhabitable for humanity? Yes.

The destruction of the environment is an ongoing process, nowhere did I imply the process was complete or that we were even close.

But we are destroying our environment with the mentality of infinite growth in a finite system (Earth.)

And seeing that there are no other habitable bodies in the solar system (yet) it would be in our interest to tread lightly until we do.
