Which is superior for going into Aerospace/space/weapons systems cutting edge R&D? Think shit like phantom works or skunk works. I’m crossed on the two for my masters program (currently having a BS in Applied Physics).

Women are impure and lower the mind to sex. They and fags have no place in the sciences. Even posting image of them is unacceptable, much less on a science board.

Whatever they're working on can't be that important if they can take a picture of it. As for OP, engineering if you aren't getting a Phd in physics.

They are, more or less, though the former is in the lab rather than production floor (and I would rather be in the lab).

That’s why I specify engineering physics/applied physics, which is more focused on the practical side than normal physics. I do plan on getting a PhD eventually, though.

You definitely do not know the joys of lab meat. They make for okayish ass-istants.

the chance of actually doing that is astronomical, and if you really want to do r&d you should be looking at phd programs

Mechanical with a focus on aerospace systems, or a dedicated aerospace degree. However, you pretty much need to be ex-military to get clearance for the really fun stuff.

I am an immigrant. is there ever a chance for me to work for space program at NASA?

>> No.15265017

I personally got it through applying at a National lab, and a Q clearance took about 4 months to process. Idk about NASA, but plenty of immigrants work here in the National lab system, and NASA is almost certainly going to be less stringent.

National Labs are a little different than some of the satellite and weapon systems I've talked with professionals about clearance. You might be able to use your clearance but all the guys involved in some of these projects at the deepest levels are ex-military.
This is different for things like commercial imaging, communication or new types of satellites.

>> No.15265511

Idk about that specifically, but the National lab I work at is a nuclear lab where they produce weapons.
Would you advise joining the military? I’ve been considering becoming a marine aviator.

I was hesitant at first, but something like 13,000 people work here, so I think I’m okay as long as I don’t reveal any more info. Also, good to hear that’s likely enough on the security clearance side.
