Agreed except for the last sentence. Fictions allow us to function in the physical world. But function in this sense means to meaningfully interact. In other words, to impose our will on matter. It is our choice what to do with this ability to interact. We could do nothing and meditate in darkness until our body starves to death. Or we could follow the evolutionary impulses of the brain and look for food, sex, etc. The matter of an apple holds no intrinsic meaning. Apples don't even exist, except that we conceptualize them as an approximate grouping of matter that, when put into the same time and space as our organs, allows us to extract energy from that matter. That is what "apple" means. Our concepts only exist and hold meaning so far as they allow us to map our interaction with the physical world.

It is ultimately the same because all matter is the same. A person, or tranny, or dick, or tits, are all just different patterns of the same physical "stuff." None of it holds any inherent meaning beyond the fiction (concept) we apply to it. Make sense?

Lemon tek it. 0.5g is a good starting dose. It can even be very potent

To lemon tek:
1. Grind the shrooms down to chunks or powder
2. Soak the material in juice of one lemon
3. Let it sit for 20-25 minutes while stirring occasionally (no more than 25, otherwise the psilocin will start to oxidize and break up)
4. Strain through cheesecloth
5. Mix with water and drink
6. Trip your ass off

Be aware that lemon tekking makes the experience more potent and it kicks in faster (10-20 minutes compared to 1-2 hours when eating them raw). You're asically converting psilocybin to psilocin while it's still outside of your body. It also shortens the duration of the trip roughly in half. But the main reason you want to lemon tek is to avoid nausea which is common when eating them raw.

Have a safe trip and remember not to freak out. If the experience gets out of hand, remember that simply changing rooms, putting on some music or simply focusing on something else can drastically alter the direction of the trip. Make sure your set is good and your setting safe.

Don't assume a nice quiet time, prepare for a catatonic experience, even if you don't end up having up, prepare regardless. My last shroom trip I did what you did, waited until everyone went to bed and then took it, a few hours later I completely lost all sense of time and space and I ended up listening to Shpongle on full volume because I felt the music really felt amazing. Well, I woke up a family member and somehow I was able to fake that I'm "just" meditating. Still got a few odd looks the next day. This is just a warning, be prepared to lose your mind temporarily and plan accordingly.

You'll eat the same indigestible parts of the mushroom that give you nausea when eaten raw. This nausea can sometimes radically alter the direction of the trip and is generally just not pleasant. Lemon tek in my experience avoids it entirely or at the very least significantly. You will still get odd body sensations, but they will likely be due to the mental changes and not due to your stomach actually trying to digest something hard to digest.

Also don't make the mistake of thinking 0.5 is a low dose, it depends on your genetics, the potency of the shroom, and probably many other factors. I've heard of cases where people ingested 0.5 and had profoundly reality shattering trips, and I've heard of cases where people took 5g and barely felt it. Never assume things and never expect things, prepare right regardless of what your expectations are.

And for fucks sake remove anything dangerous from your environment, this includes knives or anything like that. Assume you will be in a child-like state for a duration of several hours and plan accordingly.

if you're someone who has always struggled to understand your own relation with your experience, psychedelics can give a meaningful relevation where in otherwise we would feel lost. it goes both ways, trying to take psychedelics (my experience is pretty exlusive with only LSD so i don't know about everything else) for escapism is something that will punish you, but you can make the most of it even in that senario. it's more of coming to understand not just what 'knowlege' is, the lock of our perspectives to only a human standpoint, life is entirely what you've made it already, even if it seems like it's possible to forget the literal time we've spent already, it's not, every impression you ever made still lies within your heart. my own experience with psychedelics taught me to protect the child within myself that i still am, from the egos everyone develops to protect ourselves. it's a lot like 'coming home', a reimmersion in the very basic things that make life worth living. witnessing the interconnected nature of everything within yourself is not a hallucination. it's like suddenly finding a fundamental law of reality that proves everything you thought, intended, desired, and lived through was real all along - it will continue to pop up in your every day life if you really have came to some kind of understanding. i used to hate myself for pretty much no reason, but psychedelics help the most with coping (and getting over) with things like conditioning. i have always thought i had some kind of personality disorder, but the reality is that i probably have dissociative identity disorder. if you've never understood yourself in the way you'd like to, psychedelics are for you. the experience is heaven or hell, and both kinds of experience are a medicine for your soul if you let it be.

I cant say I am particularly enthused by using the label "schizo" but I know it is just a meme. Empaths are very detail oriented, we see what others do not because we actually pay attention.
