Electric Universe vs Standard Cosmology

The subject title is somewhat misleading. I was recently introduced to the electric universe theory here on /sci/. I've done a little research but I'm not qualified to decide what is true or untrue in this field.

What seems obvious is that neither theory is correct. Each explains different facets of our physical reality and each has flaws which can be answered by the alternate theory. Especially given the disturbing recent evidence provided by JWST.

So really, what I want to ask is; why are these two theories mutually exclusive and why can they not be combined in some way? Could they be combined? Should they be? Is the mutual exclusion a result of nothing more than ego?

However, to start on a more specific angle then; why has JWST found fully formed galaxies as far back in time as we have been able to see so far? Also, aren't dark matter and a disperse plasma throughout the universe basically the same thing? What is dark matter actually, is it tiny pieces of matter like quarks and gluons etc which are floating around throughout the intergalactic medium?

Multiple ways. Such as (a) Trust that millions of people who do it professionally, and rely on it to accurately predict things you rely on in every day life, know more than your dumb ass, or (b) Do the hard work required to understand it yourself by learning actual physics and experimental basis for said physics.

Your failure to understand something does not make it "broken". Theories are incomplete. Newtonian mechanics is not "broken", it is incomplete. Things work up to the point where we cannot explain them, and unsurprisingly then require a larger more encompassing explanation. We then have to test that explanation against alternatives by what predictions those explanations entail in reality, by predicting things we do not yet know.

Stop being a schizo retard and either shut up and go start reading, listening to the TENS OF THOUSANDS OF COMPLETELY FREE FUCKING UNIVERSITY LECTURES, or fuck off and stop pretending you can get away without doing the work.

It hasn't, no matter how many times this misconception is repeated. Those galaxies are low mass and much poorer in metals than local galaxies. They are big relative to their time, but they would be dwarfs if transported to the modern era. JWST has found that they are typically about 1/10th as rich in heavy elements as the Milky Way. They're also not spirals before you say that, the early galaxies are all blobs.

What "theory"? The EU isn't even defined anywhere in words, much less formalized in mathematics like real physical theories. It's just a loose collection of ideas. Ask a different acolyte and get a wildly different answer. They don't even agree amoung themselves about basic properties, like whether the Sun is positivity or negatively charged, or whether relativity is correct. I don't subscribe to an infinite physical universe theory but I don't believe our current universe came out of a big bang either. More like a big series of fractures. What seems obvious is that human ego and emotion prevents most people from considering alternatives which could plug holes in the mainstream understanding if effort were invested. I can see that anyone who would attempt to integrate EU theory into modern cosmology would be shunned and ridiculed into obscurity.

Plasma cosmology is not the electric universe. False equivalence. Alfvens cosmology was an expanding one, that is not what EUers believe today. They do not agree what causes redshift, but they do agree the universe is not expanding.
