Engineers make dog shit money, the standards have not kept up with inflation at all.
Menial labor positions command almost $20 an hour now while I got 4 years of student loan debt and only make a few bucks more.
Sure all of the boomer engineers give themselves raises and make bank but the starting salaries for new engineers are the same as what they were 30 years ago.
