Make a case against science. has it done more harm than good?

>> No.15239283

Double-edged sword. (A cliche, but nonetheless apt.) Like all technology and tools and weapons, a knife can be used to create a delicious meal. A knife can be used to kill. A nuclear weapon can be used to destroy. A nuclear weapon can, and is, being used to keep relative peace between nuclear weapon-armed states.

You've come to the right place, this is an anti-science board nowadays (not just merely unscientific)

One man's religion is another man's science.
The cause of most all evil in the world has been Religion-Science-Politics.
Religion = Science
Science = Religion
Both = Politics

Both attracts lower IQ to mid-wits, so they concentrate the stupidity of humanity.

how is science a tool? can you give an example?

Yes, science denies consciousness and free will. It also promotes effeminization of men

you wouldn't give motorcycle to a toddler would you?
humans are fucking stupid and scientists gave them the means to destroy themselves.

>you wouldn't give motorcycle to a toddler would you?
It couldn't hurt them, since they are not large enough or smart enough to use it.

why has islam been stagnant in the last thousands of year?

>> No.15242036

no, and the problem with science isn't really related to science, it's just the natural entropy of all human systems. happens to all human institutions, except most institutions spread only tyranny, which can't be said about the modern, decayed institution of science.

>thousands of year?
its like 1600 year old or something and even then most of their intellectual feats were achieved by just claiming other people's property as their own such as the persians

The only real problem with science that it has decayed into religion. Some fields may have not been real sciences for more than a century

before science: run around naked in the wild, impregnate 14 year old wife, dance around campfire with my community, do it all again tomorrow with the secure knowledge that we are beloved by the gods who will reward us with an even more glorious existence after this one ends

after science: sit hunched over a computer screen for 8 hours to enrich the executives who farm my labor, go home to empty rooms, sit hunched over a computer screen for 6 hours and shitpost, cry self to sleep, don't even jack off anymore due to low T, do it al again tomorrow, ruminating on the emptiness of the universe, dreading the nothingness of death after a boring and meaningless life

u tell me OP

You can only do that if you know what the point of life is. Only then can you make a case either way. If we are purely talking about its effect on humans. I can't say either way. On one hand I probably wouldn't have lived till now if not for science on the other hand I have microplastics and computer vax chips in my bloodstream, so yeah
