Any known methods to increase IQ/intelligence will be greatly appreciated. 30 year old basement dweller with profound mental retardation. Don't recommend me nootropics that are mild and subtle in nature or tips on how to live a healthy lifestyle. I need to be pumped full of chems! And only chems!!!

nothing can make you smarter, but when doing meth you'll feel like a genius (even though everyone else will see you as a air-wasting dimwit and you'll die with 45. No refunds!)

How bout nootropics?

why do you want to be smarter ?
Work with what you have and learn what you can learn, you'll feel better about yourself.

So I can achieve something monumental before I perish. I can't go about my life knowing that I've never achieved anything that could be remotely considered notable ever since I was a child. I had my IQ tested when I was in my late teens and received a score of 137. Unfortunately, my brain has atrophied over the years due to a lack of stimuli. I've always wanted to embark on my autodidact mathematical journey but I was impotent, hesitant at best. Now that I have
finally mustered up the confidence to take on this enterprise, my brain fails me. Just seeing that Von Neumann thread made me break into tears. All my life, I've done nothing and now, when I finally have the courage, I can't do it anymore.

Maybe you can get young people with compatible blood, have them exercise vigorously for hours, and afterwards take their blood and replace yours with it. That might work as a nootropic. I'm not a doctor though.

Lots of the low hanging fruit in this is just enhancing energy production via increasing metabolism and increasing calories.

For that, I'd recommend looking into iodine, creatine, and thyroid hormone (but only if you need it).

would not recommend stimulants

If you get an intelligent person to cannibalize you, it could be said that your intelligence increased.

Stuff to increase your IQ:
ISRIB - ingestion is a problem though
Lion's mane
PRL-8-53 (increases working memory)
4’-DMA-7,8-DHF
NSI-189
Gotu Kola

^just to warn you, don't expect a miracle from any of these drugs. They are known to induce brain cell growth, but growth alone doesn't necessarily boost IQ, and even if it does, it certainly won't happen overnight.

Stuff to increase your productivity:
Modafinil
Caffeine pills

Stuff to keep you healthy:
Vitamins
Nicotinamide Mononucleotide
Exercise - doing cardio in particular is proven to increase motivation and learning ability

What about Dihexa? I've heard that it induces synaptogenesis, making it easier to form connections.

Nothing is going to make you smarter but you can fix what you have.
Stop eating processed foods, get your diet in order.
Cardio exercise.
Vit D and fish oil caps 3 times a day (buy good ones and keep them in the fridge)
Bring you dopamine back to baseline, no alcohol or porn or junkfood
Get better sleep, your healthy diet will help with this.
You'll be able to think clearly and remember stuff in as little as 1 week.
Now it's time to read books and learn things.

Is it wise to increase my risk of cancer in exchange for enhanced intellect? Hypothetically, let's say I take Dihexa non stop for a few years. Would I see an increase in intelligence if paired with mentally taxing activities such as Mathematics/Physics?

I'll tell you a secret. every single genius out there has passion for their work. have you been doing math on your free time? do you enjoy reading up and practicing tough concepts in physics? is coding a big hobby of yours, doing multiple projects per week?

think about what you're doing in your day to day life. if you're not 'living' science, chances are you won't ever make big progress or new discoveries in a given scientific field, whatever it may be. people don't turn into scientists one day, they grow up to be ones.

Maybe. But obviously there haven't been any studies conducted to test that, and no one here can tell you for sure.

This stuff is very new and has hardly been studied at all. There's no actual evidence that it's carcinogenic either, scientists just suspect that it might be since it encourages cell growth.

It's possible that this stuff really makes you a genius. Or it might just make you autistic and give you cancer. Or it might do nothing. No one knows.

You can't read much into people's experience reports because people are fucking wack jobs and will report all kinds off all-the-wall shit regardless of what they take. The only thing that can prove an effect is hard data. Ultimately it's up to you to take a calculated risk and make a judgment call if you're going to take it.

If you do take it, please be sure to grind some psychometric tests on a schedule and post your data.

It's time for you to reject intellectualism. It's makign you an objectively worse person. It makes the overwhelming majority of the population into trash. Intellectualism should be reserved for 135+ IQ and strongly discouraged and demonized in the rest of the population.

Apparently, sunifram is in the bottom left of the chart. Sunifram has been proven to be significantly potent by leaps and bounds compared to piracetam. However, most people only take 5mg per day due to sunifram's correlation to excitotoxicity. I saw a testimonial on longecity about some guy who took 25mg 4 days a week for 4 months straight. He observed a 15 IQ point increase. Not sure about his testing methodology though. The risk excitotoxicity can be mitigated via the consumption of Taurine.
