grandiose delusions, the conditions encountered at 12km were already not as predicted by the soience experts, they don't know anything about whats deeper, they only know that nobody else can prove them wrong when they make up their theories because they know 12 km is the limit of knowledge. thats rhetoric, not science. science specifically excludes the soience experts' nondisprovable theories from the realm of science.

From the abstract the first words are
>Differential rotation of Earth’s inner core relative to the mantle
So this is relative to the mantle, the rotation is now the same as the mantle, and they seem to suggest the rotational changes have a period of 70 years.

seismic waves DO NOT tell scientists the "core" is made of iron, the ONLY thing it tells scientists is that its VISCOSITY is the SAME as WATER. Why iron then? Because it MUST conform to the GLOBE model they have stablished as an immutable truth along with the "standard model" of cosmology

you can ask ANY honest geophysicist, specially a seismologist, and he will tell you i'm right

>Lol, are you retarded, seismic waves go way faster through water and don't refract/reflect as much
Wrong, seismic waves tell the core is liquid and has the same viscosity as water. Scientists cope by saying it's not water, but a mixture of iron and nickel because in the globe model it's impossible for water to go down and stay inside the core, so they guess it's ion and nickel because of meteorites.

You are doing a strawman by comparing pure water on you home with water that is fucking miles deep under rocks, where the fuck are learning physics from you dumbass? Go learn what viscosity is before trying to fact check with your fucking middle school physics textbook
https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/water-dynamic-kinematic-viscosity-d_596.html

Like I said, there is no way to know what the core is made from except that it is LIQUID.

And by the way, where are you taking your geophysics information from? From highschool textbooks that paint the globe Earth as a ball of fucking magma when olivine is actually green? I'm taking my info from a PhD in geophysics who also happens to be a flat earther. He says after the solid part of Earth, so about 2000 km deep, the layer is LIQUID like WATER.

The people who say it's iron-ish are the paleomagnetists. Those are people who only study the SURFACE and then try to use models to predict what's in the core. The only people with EMPIRICAL evidence of the core are the seismologists.

Case dismissed.

I got this from asking chatGPT to distill a bunch of articles:

Earth's inner core, made up of iron and molten liquids, has been found to have temporarily stopped spinning. According to scientists, this happens every seven decades as part of an approximately seven-decade oscillation. A new study suggests there may be a connection between the inner core's spin and life on Earth's surface, as changes in the core's spin coincide with changes in other geophysical observations such as the length of day and magnetic field.

The study, conducted by scientists at Peking University in China, found that the inner core is slowing down and reversing its rotation. The research, published in the journal Nature Geoscience, found that the inner core's rotation slowed significantly beginning in 2009. The study also found that a larger, decade-long pattern may be at play, with the rotation of the inner core varying on a decade-long timescale and reversing course every 7 decades.

It is important to note that the inner core is a solid ball surrounded by a fluid outer core, which allows it to rotate at a different pace compared to the planet's outer layers. The study of the Earth's core is difficult and there is much disagreement over the interpretation of data. Scientists suggest that journalists can avoid inaccuracies by double-checking with scientists themselves.

Although the changes won't have much impact on life on the surface, more research is needed to understand the significance of the inner core's rotation on the planet's geophysical processes.
