I've read that temperament/personality traits are roughly 50% heritable. IQ too, is somewhat 50% heritable.

Could it be, that the reason these things that are genetic reach 50 % because they actually are 100% heritable, BUT that because you inherit randomly genes from either your mother or father, this would naturally drive the overlap to 50% ?

(If no one thought about this, I claim the nobel prize)

its nature and nurture, and the interplay between the both of them. any other position is retarded.

This AI was trained on sets that favored longer form answers, elegant simplicity is lost and as a result overuse of superlative adjectives is seen as indicating a higher IQ.

"I think therefore I am" a profound and intellectual statement is nothing to this AI.

IQ is about 80% heritable. What complicates things is that even the remaining 20% is going to be impacted by a downstream web of direct heritability. I.e. your family, society etc are shaped by genetic heritability too.

IQ is extremely heritable but can be hampered by things like poor nutrition

60-80%, depending on your race, last I looked.

No, that's really not how it works. They can predict your IQ from the IQ of your mother and father, regardless if they're both high, both low, or mixed. But you can't just ignore the impact of nature. If you get hit on the head with a brick as a kid, you're gonna have a bad time. Likewise, if you're starving as a child, you're gonna have a bad time. But we can't just keep injecting 20cc's of butter into children for extra IQ points. There are genetic factors for sure.

i.e. with a parent with an IQ of 80 and a parent with an IQ of 100, the child would be more likely than not to have an IQ in that range barring some malnutrition or disease with a very slight chance being above or below

heh. Well isn't that the point of the turbo encabulator? It's purposely made to SOUND complex. The bot picks up on that. Word-choice, grammar, all that. But it's got no ability to call bullshit on anything. All it knows is how often you use complex language. I'm kinda surprised it didn't assume all the nonsense words were misspelling and dock points for that.

It probably wouldn't think much of Einstein explaining relativity using only simple English.
