I was watching a documentary of someone from my country (Western) visiting Asia. At the airport he meets a 19 year old Asian guy and they start talking about the country, somewhere in the conversation he asks the guy if he has a girlfriend and he says "I'm too young to have a girlfriend yet".

In the West people already have girlfriends and their first sexual experience at the age of 12 to 16, right? in my country I would say yes, more than 70% do.

Is a later sexual development preferable? For example, would it be better if the first boyfriend and sexual experience occurred between 18 and 24 years old? I am interested in the scientific and social aspect of this.

It's better for society if pair-bonding starts young and lasts a lifetime.

I would guess in an expansionist phase of a civilization early sexual development would be preferable, and in a mature phase of civilization later development would be preferable. Strange question.

neither matters as much. what matters is the strength of the relationships. people in the west whore around up to their 20s or 30s if they can and have dysfunctional relationships and families for the rest of their lives as a result. cant comment on how it works in asia though

>what matters is the strength of the relationships

This is a salient point.

It should be noted that certain malevolent actors put out a lot of propaganda to turn families against one another, and to keep relationships toxic.

If humanity cannot overcome these pathogens to our collective social health, we will go extinct.

Just a reminder that this was a deliberate socially engineered phenomena.
the "revolution" of the "Sexual liberation" movement was really sexual enslavement.

Libido Dominandi is a good history of this political campaign.

Absolutely. Later development for everything is preferable. Ageing faster and doing things earlier reduces life happiness.
